What is happening?
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – WEST LANE, HAVANT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION - To impose a 30-mph temporary speed restriction on the following road: That part of West Lane between its junction with Saltmarsh Lane and its junction with Havant Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 15th June 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the speed restriction will be required for no longer than 4 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
