Winchester Road, Basingstoke - Temporary 20 mph Speed Restriction due to Utility Works

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – WINCHESTER ROAD, KEMPSHOTT, BASINGSTOKE & DEANE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION - To impose a 20-mph temporary speed restriction on the following road: That part of Winchester Road between its junction with Saunders Way and its junction with Hatch Warren Roundabout.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Thursday 18th June 2026 for a period of 12 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the speed restriction will be required for no longer than 6 months and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
