ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(PARISH OF LITTLE BLAKENHAM) (FOOTPATH 43)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

This order, which came into effect on 16/02/2026, closing Footpath 43, Little Blakenham from 75 metres south of Lower Road for 20 metres southbound has been extended in force by the Minister until 16/08/2027 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.

This closure remains required due to safety reasons due to an eroded bank. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Without extension the order would have been in effect until 26/07/2026.

The diversion route remains Footpath 43, Lower Road, Footpath 39, Footpath 40, Footpath 44, Footpath 43 and vice versa.
