What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTIONS – WOODMAN LANE & HOME LANE, SPARSHOLT, WINCHESTER, SPARSHOLT VILLAGE FETE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Sparsholt Village Fete to take place out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of Woodman Lane between its junction with Watley Lane and its junction with Church Lane.

ONE-WAY SUSPENSION: To impose a one-way road on the following road:

That part of Home Lane between its junction with Wateley Lane and its junction with Church Lane. The one-way restriction will make Home Lane Westbound only.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Lane, Westley Lane, Stockbridge Road, Watley Lane, Home Lane.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Saturday 20th June 2026 between the hours 10:00 – 21:00 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner.

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is being carried out.

The Road Restrictions have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of the Sparsholt Village Fete.
