TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U5010 RUSSELL ROAD, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5010 Russell Road, Ipswich (north west lane only) from the A137 for 65 metres north westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Sir Alf Ramsey Way, West End Road, Chancery Road and no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from:
* 13/06/2026 - 14/06/2026
* 20/06/2026 - 21/06/2026.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE C697 GREAT GREEN, COCKFIELD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C697 Great Green, Cockfield from 100 metres east of Bradfield Road for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Great Green and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 04/06/2026 - 06/06/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U3502 HALL ROAD, FRAMSDEN
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3502 Hall Road, Framsden from the junction with Cretingham Road for 80 metres north westbound to facilitate the replacement of a telecommunications pole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Hall Road, Otley Road, Hall Lane, Chapel Road, The Green, Otley Road, The Street, Framsden Road, Cretingham Road, Hall Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 04/06/2026 - 05/06/2026 from 9am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE C429 DRINKSTONE ROAD AND BEYTON ROAD, BEYTON AND DRINKSTONE
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C429 Drinkstone Road, Beyton and the C429 Beyton Road, Drinkstone to facilitate surface dressing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be The Street, Gedding Road, C430 from C429 to C685, Road from C429 to C695 Drinkstone, Drinkstone Road Gedding, Bury Road Drinkstone, Road from C695 to C427 Bradfield St George, Manor Road, The Green, The Street, Beyton Road Hessett, Church Road, Roads Bounding Beyton Green, Tostock Road Beyton and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/06/2026 - 15/05/2026 from 8am - 5pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

(MAP-BASED) ORDER 2019 (FELIXSTOWE)
(VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND REMOVAL OF SCHOOL ENTRANCE MARKINGS)
(VARIATION NO.22) ORDER 2026
On 01/06/2026 Suffolk County Council made the above order under sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which substitutes revision 1 and 2 of Map Tiles HP149 and HO149 respectively in place of revision 0 and 1 of the same Map Tiles, into the above-named 2019 order. The effect of this is to:
• Introduce ‘No waiting at any time’ on:
• Garrison Lane (A154), on its west side, starting at a point 20m south of the centre of its junction with Valley Walk for a total distance of 45m in a northerly direction,
• Valley Walk (U3123), on both sides, from its junction with Garrison Lane for a distance of 10m, in a westerly direction,
• St Andrews Road (U3126), on both sides from its junction with Garrison Lane for a distance of 15m in an easterly direction
• Garrison Lane (A154), on its east side, from a point starting 18m south of the centre of its junction with St Andrews Rd for a distance of 38m in a northerly direction
• Cobbold Road (U3630), on its north side, starting at a point 12m west of its junction with Eagles Close for a distance of 22m in an easterly direction
• Eagles Close, on both sides, from its junction with Cobbold Road for a distance of 11m in a northerly direction
• Princes Gardens (U3130), on both sides, from its junction with Garrison Lane for a distance of 15m in an easterly direction
• Newry Avenue (U3123) on both sides from its junction with Garrison Lane for a distance of 15m in a westerly direction, and
• Garrison Lane (A154) on its west side starting at a point 15m south of its junction with Newry Avenue for a distance of 38m in a northerly direction.
• Remove the existing ‘School Keep Clear’ restriction on:
• the east side of Garrison Lane (A154) for its entire length from the outside of property nos 113 - 117
Exemptions to the waiting restrictions allow a vehicle to wait for so long as is necessary to board or alight or to load and unload for building, industrial or demolition works; for emergency services; for the maintenance of the road or its services; and for fulfilling statutory duties. There are the usual exemptions for Blue Badge holders.
A copy of the order, which comes into effect on 10/06/2026, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday; also at Felixstowe Library, Crescent Road, Felixstowe IP11 7BY, Sunday and Monday 10am - 4pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am - 5.30pm, Wednesday 9am - 7.30pm, and Saturday 9am - 5pm, except bank holidays.
If anyone wishes to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any of the requirements of that Act or any instrument made under it have not been complied with in relation to the order, they may within six weeks of the date on which the order was made apply to the High Court for this purpose.
