LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING
INTENDED RAISED TABLES on LEELAND ROAD.

The Ealing (Free Loading Places) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; 

The Ealing (Free Parking Places) (No. 1, 2014) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; 

The Ealing (Parking Places) (Stop and Shop with additional Cashless Parking) (No.1, 2022) (Amendment No.***) Order 202*; 

The Ealing (Prescribed Routes) (No. ***) Traffic Order 202*; 

The Ealing (Prescribed Routes) (No. 160, 2018) Traffic (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; 

The Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*.

1. NOTICE IS GIVEN The London Borough of Ealing that they have proposed the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the proposed Order would be to on Leeland Road, W13: -

(1) amend the hours of operation of the existing prohibition of motor vehicles Order that operates on Saturdays, to 0700 - 1400 hours (for market Saturdays) [MKT permit holders to be exempted];

(2) introduce a south-eastbound one-way traffic flow with a cycle contra-flow lane;

(3) introduce a restricted parking zone, no loading at any time, except in signed bays;

(4) on both sides, convert sections of existing parking places to: (a) 'free THEN charged' parking places to operate Sundays to Fridays 0800 to 1830 hours, with a maximum free period of 30 minutes, longer periods would require a 'pay by phone' payment, max stay 2 hours, with a no return period of 1 hour, and within the parking bays, a waiting restriction to operate on Saturdays, 0700 to 1400 hours (for market Saturdays); (b) MKT permit holders on Saturdays (disabled blue badge holders would not be exempted);

(5) on the north-east side (southern end) convert sections of existing parking places to a loading bay, to operate Sundays to Fridays 0800 to 1830 hours & Saturdays 1400 to 1830 hours, maximum loading period 30 minutes, no return within 1 hour.

3. The general effect of the proposed Order would be to on: -
(1) Bedford Road to substitute one 'free THEN charged bay' for double yellow lines;

(2) Canberra Road, to impose at any time loading restrictions.

4. NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing Council, intends to install a raised table on Leeland Road at its junction with Broadway, The raised table, with a maximum plateau length of 2.5 metres, a maximum height of 100 mm and a maximum ramp gradient of 1 in 20.

5. The intention and proposal, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from 'trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk' or by inspection at Staff Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made, or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

6. Any objections or other representations about either of the intended crossings, or the proposed Orders should be sent in writing by e-mail to 'trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk' or by post to Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference P010-26 until the 24 June 2026. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should include the address of the author.
