DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
The Survey of Public Rights of Way in that part of the Borough of Dudley within the area of the former Brierley Hill Urban District Council part of former Staffordshire as it existed prior to the 1st April 1966
Borough of Dudley (George Street, Wordsley, Stourbridge) Modification Order 2026 Path 51A
The above Order made on 2026 if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by: Adding a public footpath 51A shown as a broken black line between points A and B on plan reference D093B.
The length of footpath that commences opposite No 21b George Street, Wordsley (Point A) SO8975 8610 running in a generally easterly direction for some 71 metres to meet public footpath B51 (Point B) SO8982 8612 at the south-west facing boundary of No 73 Oak Park Road.
The width of the path shall be some 5.2 metres at Point A; 2.5 metres at Point C SO8978 8611; and 2.4 metres at Point B
The path is part tarmacked and part stoned.
A copy of the Order and Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Dudley Library St James’ Road Dudley DY1 1HR and at Wordsley Library, Wordsley Green, Wordsley, DY8 5BN and may be obtained there at the price of £0. Copies may also be seen during normal office hours and on the following website:
Any representations or objections relating to the Order must be sent in writing to Director for Neighbourhoods (FAO D R Jacobs), Dudley Council, Lister Road Depot, Lister Road, Dudley, DY2 8JW no later than 2026 and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Dudley Borough Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, in whole or in part, any representations and objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
