What is happening?
B0133 MAYTOWN ROAD,
BESSBROOK
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure
in its capacity as Road Authority and acting in pursuance of
its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation
(Northern Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited the
use of the above named road to through traffic, from the
junction of McShanes Road to the junction of Kingsmill Road
from 08:00 on Monday 01 June 2026 until 18:00 on
Friday 21 August 2026.
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be
maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate work by DFI Southern.
An alternative route will be signed with traffic being
diverted via:
C0214 Kingsmill Road, U5104 Tullywinney Road, B0134
Tullyah Road,
A0025 Newry Road, A0025 Newtown Road, A0025 Old
Road, A0025 Main Street, A0025 Camlough Road, B0133
Millvale Road, B0133 Maytown Road.
