Department for Infrastructure - PENALTY CHARGES – GIANT’S CAUSEWAY
What is happening?
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make
Regulations entitled The Penalty Charges (Prescribed
Amounts) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2026.
The Regulations will prescribe a penalty charge of £300 in
respect of a contravention by a coach of the Waiting
Restrictions (Giant’s Causeway) Order (Northern Ireland)
2017.
Full details are contained in the draft Regulations, which
together with a map showing the roads involved, may be
inspected free of charge during office hours within the period
below at DfI TRAM Parking Policy Branch, James House,
Gasworks Site, 2-4 Cromac Avenue, Belfast, BT7 2JA or
viewed online at
www.infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/consultations
Inspection of the draft Regulations and map is by appointment
only which can be arranged either by email using the email
address below or by telephone on 0300 200 7899 during office
hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.).
Any person may object or make other representations,
specifying the grounds on which they are made, by writing to
the Department at the address above or by emailing
parkingpolicy@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk
within a period of 22
days from the date of publication of this Notice.
