What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C461
PAPER MILL LANE, CLAYDON AND BRAMFORD
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
? the C461 Paper Mill Lane, Claydon from The Meadows for 975 metres southbound
? the C461 Paper Mill Lane, Bramford from Stockley Barn for 1104 metres northbound.
This is to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bramford Road, The Common, Loraine Way, Bramford Road, High Street, Hadleigh Road, the Road from the A134, Newton to the A1214, Ipswich, London Road, Yarmouth Road, Bramford Road, River Hill, Bramford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 12/06/2026 - 02/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
