What is happening?
Sizewell C (Nuclear Generating Station) Order 2022/853 – Article 19
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF PRETTY ROAD, THEBERTON
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing PRETTY ROAD, THEBERTON from approximately 350m from its junction with B1122 Leiston Road to approximately 220m from its junction with Hawthorn Road to facilitate the construction of Sizewell Link Road.
Unless otherwise notified, the diversion route will be B1122, Abbey Lane, Harrow Lane, Hawthorn Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 29th June 2026 to 20th August 2027 but will remain in place until the works are complete.
Enquiries should be made to Sizewell C Information Office at 48-50 High Street, Leiston, IP16 4EW between 9.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
