Temporary Closure of Petherton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Petherton Road - from 260 metres north of the junction with Cherry Tree Close, northwards for a total distance of 160 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out cabling and jetting works.
The Order becomes effective on 16th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd June 2026 and last until 26th June 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 5 days.
