O 15/06/2026 fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Lôn Crispin, Wrecsam rhwng y gyffordd â’r A541 Ffordd yr Wyddgrug a’r gyffordd â ffordd fynediad Prifysgol Glyndwr am 225m i alluogi O’Connor Utilities ar ran Scottish Power i osod 2 gebl trydan foltedd uchel ar gyfer cysylltiad newydd yn y lôn gerbydau a’r llwybrau troed. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n cael eu heffeithio gan gau’r ffordd yw ar hyd Lôn Crispin, Stansty Road, Ffordd Plas Coch a’r A541 Ffordd yr Wyddgrug, a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod. Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
effective from 15/06/2026 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Crispin Lane, Wrexham between its junction with A541 Mold Road and its junction with access road to Glyndwr University for a distance of 225m to enable O’Connor Utilities on behalf of Scottish Power to install 2 new HV electricity cables for a new connection in the carriageway and footways. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Crispin Lane, Stansty Road, Plas Coch Road and A541 Mold Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The prohibition is expected to last for 2 weeks, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
