QUEEN ANNE DRIVE & CANFORD MAGNA, POOLE – ROAD CLOSURE

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT?

• Road closed to all vehicles and no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time

Only one closure will be in place at any one time due to clashing diversion routes

WHERE & WHEN:

• Queen Anne Drive closed eastbound from its junction with Gravel Hill to its junction with Montacute Way – Anticipated dates: 27th July 2026 until 28th August 2026

• Canford Magna closed from its junction with Floral Farm to its junction with Queen Anne Drive – Anticipated dates: 29th June 2026 until 14th August 2026

WHY: This is to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety

DIVERSION: Via signed routes

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
