(TARIFFS AND CHARGES) (NO.*) ORDER 20**
REVISION OF PAY AND DISPLAY TARIFFS IN BRADFORD CITY CENTRE
NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce the following tariffs in Bradford City Centre: -
New Tariff Codes for On-Street Parking Places
Code 2 | Mon - Sun (inclusive of Bank Holidays) 8am to 8pm, £2.00 per hour; 2 hours max stay - also applies to blue badge holders; return prohibited within 2 hours. |
Code 3 | Mon - Sun (inclusive of Bank Holidays) 8am to 8pm; £1.00 per hour; over 5 hours £6.00; no max stay. |
Bradford (Other) - Snowden St, Nelson St, Burrow St, Hallgate, Longlands St, Providence St, Grattan Rd, Vincent St, Tetley St, Stott Hill, Wellington St, North St, Captain St, Pine St, Priestley St, Sun St, Cross Sun St, Wharf St, North Brook St, Leeming St, Edward St, Bedford St, Cape St, Old Canal Rd, Singleton St, Thornton Rd, Soho St, Quebec St, Rawson Rd, Simes St.
Code 9 | Mon - Sun (inclusive of Bank Holidays) 8am to 10pm; Up to 1 hour free. Over 1 hour £1.00 per hour; 4 hours max stay – also applies to blue badge holders; return prohibited within 4 hours. |
All other existing tariffs and charges are unchanged. A copy of the draft Order and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY, or examined on the Council’s website at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order, or obtained from Traffic Engineer (Traffic and Road Safety South), Sukhpal Shergill, Planning, Transportation & Highways Service by telephone on 07890 418304 or by email sukhpal.shergill@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number PTH/HDC/CCPRW/OSS.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing either by post to the address below or by e-mail to Objections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon on 22 June 2026 quoting the aforesaid reference number:- PTH/HDC/CCPR/WO/SS.
