What is happening?

NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL

(Ferriby Road, Scunthorpe)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

On 22 nd Oct 2025, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order, the effect of which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding along Ferriby Rd, Scunthorpe. 

This Order took effect on 27th Oct 2025 and will be effective until 26th April 2027. 

Under this same Order, it is now proposed to undertake further works (excavation by Northern PowerGrid to locate a faulty cable) necessitating the closure of Ferriby Rd from 8am 22nd June-5pm 30th July 2026 (but varied, if necessary, due to any unforeseen circumstances). The diversion is Willoughby Rd, Spilsby Rd, Irby Rd and reverse.
