Public Byways Ba23/7 & Ba25/43, Wellow Road, Wellow - Temporary restrictions due to drainage and resurfacing
What is happening?
Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce closures to: the section of Public Byway BA23/7 commencing from a junction with Public Footpath BA23/8 at ST72125690 and proceeding in a generally ENE direction for approx 6m to a junction with Public Byway BA25/43 at ST72125690; and to the section of Public Byway BA25/43 commencing from a junction with Public Byway BA23/7 at ST72125690 and proceeding in a generally ENE direction for approx 210m to a junction with Public
Footpath BA25/42 at ST72295701.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant will be carrying out drainage and surfacing works.
The Order will come into force on 29h June 2026 and will be effective until 27th July 2026.
