What is happening?
The above order, made on 14 May 2026 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath running from ST64455687 and proceeding in a generally
E direction for approx 30m to ST64475688, to a line running from ST64485687 and
proceeding a generally N direction for approx 2m to ST64485687 and then in a
generally NW direction for approx 7m to ST64475687 and then in a generally N
direction for approx 3m to ST64475688, as shown on the order map.

Council at the price of £5.00 – to purchase please telephone the Public Rights of Way

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Team, Bath and North East Somerset Council, Lewis House,
Manvers Street, Bath, BA1 1JG or by email to PROW@bathnes.gov.uk not later than 8 July 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the
substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person
making it will become available for public inspection.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Bath and North East Somerset Council may confirm the order as an
unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food
& Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been
withdrawn will be sent with the order.
