(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

LOW DINSDALE FOOTPATHS 3 AND 4,

MIDDLETON ST GEORGE

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be, to close:

LOW DINSDALE FOOTPATH 3

From its start between 10 and 11 Palm Tree Villas, south westwards for approximately 335 metres to the field boundary at the water park

LOW DINSDALE FOOTPATH 4

From its start between 10 and 11 Palm Tree Villas, south westwards for approximately 205 metres to the field boundary at the water park

An alternative route will be signed along the eastern and southern boundary of the development site.

The Order is necessary for pedestrian safety while building works take place.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 6 months commencing from 1st June 2026.
