RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Maesteg wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) wedi creu Gorchymyn sy’n cyflwyno, dros dro, y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol oherwydd bod angen adnewyddu heidrant tân ac mae er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd.
Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 03/06/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn hwy na 18 mis neu nes bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf.
Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 08:00 a 16:00 o 03/06/2026 i 05/06/2026.
Atodlen - Ni chaiff unrhyw berson beri i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ymlaen tua 30 metr o Vicarage Terrace, y tu allan i rif 1.Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw trwy Vicarage Terrace.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(VICARAGE TERRACE, MAESTEG) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Maesteg in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is necessary due to renewal of fire hydrant and is in the interest of public safety.
The Order will come into force on 03/06/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
It is anticipated that the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 from 03/06/2026 to 05/06/2026.
Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed approximately 30 meters of Vicarage Terrace, outside number 1. The alternative route for vehicles is via Vicarage Terrace. B4282 Neath Road, Salisbury Road, Vicarage Terrace, and vice versa.
Access cannot be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
