(TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTION) (LADY MARGARET ROAD, Southall) ORDER 2026
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Ealing Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit: - (1) the waiting and loading of vehicles;
(2) vehicles from entering or proceeding; on the lengths of road specified in Schedule to this Order, at such times and extent when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed.
2. The Order will come into effect at 0001 hours on Friday, 5 June 2026, and is required to facilitate public realm highway improvements works to be undertaken safely on roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice.
3. The maximum duration of the Order will be 12 months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier.
4. Diversions for vehicles will be via Allenby Road, Bycroft
Road, Devonshire Road, Windermere Road.
5. Exemptions will be provided for: -
(1) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(2) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(3) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
