What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) (a) EALING COUNCIL 

(TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTION) (VARIOUS ROAD, W13) ORDER 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Ealing Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be to: -

(1) prohibit the waiting and loading of vehicles;

(2) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding;

(3) suspend the operation of a moving traffic Order, on the lengths of road specified in Schedule to this Order, at such times and extent when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed.

2. The Order will come into effect at 0001 hours on Friday, 5 June 2026, and is required to facilitate public realm highway improvements works to be undertaken safely on roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice. 

3. The maximum duration of the Order will be 12 months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier.

4. Diversions for vehicles will be: -
(1) Leeland Road: Leeland Terrace, Coldershaw Road, Broadway.

(2) Seaford Road: (AWS) Sherwood Close (eastbound), Melbourne Avenue (southbound), Holbeck Rd (northbound), Tawny Close (northbound), Leeland Terrace (westbound), Seaford Road.

(3) Westfield Road: Leeland Terrace (westbound, Melbourne Avenue (southbound), Regina Rd (westbound), Adelaide Road (southbound), Brisbane Rd (northbound), Westfield Road. 

5. Exemptions will be provided for: -
(1) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(2) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order; 

(3) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(4) market traders will be exempted from the proposed Saturday waiting restriction, provided their vehicle details are listed upon an 'approved white-list'.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

SCHEDULE
1. CANBERRA ROAD between its northern kerb-line with Leeland Terrace and a point 20 metres north of that kerb-line. 

2. LEELAND ROAD its entire length.

3. SEAFORD ROAD between its southern kerb-line with Leeland Terrace and a point 30 metres south of that kerbline.

4. SEAFORD ROAD (Leeland Terrace to Regina Terrace) 2010 128 - Suspension of the one-way traffic flow.

5. THE AVENUE, W13. Saturday waiting restriction [only] within existing 'charged' parking places to operate 0700 to 0900 & 1300 to 1400 hours. The east side, opposite Nos.: (1) 25-29 The Avenue; (2) 13-21 The Avenue; (3) 6-9 Castle Hill Parade;(4) 1&3 Drayton Court Chambers, The Avenue.

6. WESTFIELD ROAD between its south-eastern kerb-line with Leeland Terrace and a point 20 metres south of that kerb-line.
