On 19/05/2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, for laying new gas pipe for new connection.
Temporary Road Closure – U1947 Averon Road, Alness, 100m.
The works are expected to commence from 08 June 2026 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 26 June 2026 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
An alternative route for vehicles is available via the U1947 Averon Road, Bank Lane,Ardross Road and B817 High Street.
