CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(HATLEY ROAD, COCKAYNE HATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order
the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Hatley Road, Cockayne Hatley outside Home Farm.
This temporary closure is required to enable meter exchange works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on 22 June 2026 between the hours of 0900-1600. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Hatley Rd and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 22 June 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of The Mixies, Stotfold outside number 6.
This temporary closure is required to enable new service connection works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 22 to 26 June 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
There is no alternative route for this closure

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Brook End, Potton outside number 35.
This temporary closure is required to enable New electricity supply works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 22 to 26 June between the hours of 0800 and 1800hrs. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route will be via Market Square, Sun Street, B1042, Brook End.
The Order will come into operation on 22 June 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Everton Road, Tempsford and Everton Hill, Everton 20 metres either side of the level crossing.
This temporary closure is required to enable annual inspection works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 6 to 7 June 2026 between the hours of 2330 and 0800. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Tempsford Road, Sandy Road, Everton Road, Swaden, High Street, Bedford Road, Great North Road, Blunham Lane, C54 from Blunham Lane to Station Road, Church Street and Everton Road.
The Order will come into operation on 6 June 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Park Lane, Henlow outside number 2a.
This temporary closure is required to enable raising of Boundary box Works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing. The temporary revocation of the one way system will be implemented to allow access during the closure.
It is expected that the works will take place from 10 to 12 June. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Park Lane, Church Rd, High St and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 10 June 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
