SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3624 SANDY LANE, DUKES PARK, BRIARWOOD ROAD, PINEWOOD AND BROOMHEATH AND THE U3625 CALIFORNIA, WOODBRIDGE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

1. U3624 Sandy Lane, Woodbridge from 10 metres west of the junction with Dukes Park to the junction with Broomheath
U3624 Sandy Lane, Woodbridge from the junction with Broomheath to the junction with Ipswich Road

2. U3624 Dukes Park, Woodbridge

3. U3625 California, Woodbridge

4. U3624 Briarwood Road, Woodbridge

5. U3624 Pinewood, Woodbridge

6. U3624 Broomheath, Woodbridge.

This is to facilitate gas mains replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Top Street, Ipswich Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from:

1. 01/06/2026 - 25/07/2026

2. 01/06/2026 - 22/06/2026

3. 08/06/2026 - 04/07/2026

4. 22/06/2026 - 11/07/2026

5. 22/06/2026 - 11/07/2026

6. 29/06/2026 - 22/07/2026

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3608 SPRING LANE, IFFORD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3608 Spring Lane, Ifford from 100 metres east of the junction with High Street for 20 metres eastbound to facilitate water stop tap repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1438, Crownfields, School Lane, The Avenue, Barrack Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/06/2026 - 12/06/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
