(Wellpark Avenue, Kilmarnock - New Farm Loch) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026
On 02 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the abovenamed Order to allow Installation of Speed Tables.
Road Closure – Wellpark Avenue, Kilmarnock - New Farm Loch
Wellpark Avenue - 200m between Rail Bridge and Milton Road.
No Waiting At Any Time – Wellpark Avenue, Kilmarnock - New Farm Loch
Wellpark Avenue - 200m between Rail Bridge and Milton Road both sides of carriageway.
The Order commences on 15 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 15 June 2026 at 08:00 until 26 June 2026 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained when possible and safe to do so.
An alternative route is Milton Road, MacPhail Drive, MacKenzie Drive, Grassyards Road, Holehouse Road, Culzean Crescent, London Road, before re-joining Wellpark Ave and vice versa.

(C72, Barrhill) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026
On 28 May 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named to allow Formation of bell mouth for site access / egress for wind farm.
Temporary Road Closure – C72, Barrhill
For 600m - between Chirmorrie residential property to existing site track to the North. The Order commences on 15 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
The works are expected to commence from 15 June 2026 at 00:01 with the closure remaining in place until 28 June 2026 at 23:59.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
An alternative route will be signed via C72 - A714 - Barnkirk Road - A75 - A747- C1W

(High Street, Ayr - Town Centre) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026
On 28 May 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the abovenamed Order to allow contractors to allow Scottish Water Works.
No Waiting At Any Time - High Street Ayr Town Centre From No.66 to No.86 The Order commences on 15 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
The works are expected to commence from 15 June 2026 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 26 June 2026 at 17:30.
Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

On 28 May 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the abovenamed Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.
Temporary Road Closure – Carrick Street, Maybole,
Full length (Ladyland Road to B77 Whitehall) - 140m.

The Order commences on 15 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 15 June 2026 at 08:00 until 22 June 2026 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

An alternative route will be signed via Ladyland Road, Culzean Road, B77 High Street, B77 Whitehall and vice versa.
