(U63100 Foley Terrace, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Order made: To close that part of U63100 Foley Terrace from its junction with A449 Wells Rd to its junction with B4218 Wyche Rd.
Reason: Manhole cover replacement by STW.
Alternative route: B4218 Wyche Rd, A449 Wells Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (19:00-06:00). Commencing: 4 June 2026.
(U63400 Summerfield Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63400 Summerfield Rd from its junction with U63411 Vandra Cl to its junction with U63402 Duke of Edinburgh Way.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: U63400 Queen Elizabeth Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, C2237 Lower Howsell Rd, U63400 Summerfield Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days (24hr) between 23 June 2026 and 3 July 2026.
(Link Footpath F60186 Queen Elizabeth Road to Princess Margaret Avenue, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F60186 Queen Elizabeth Rd from its junction with A449 Worcester Rd to its junction with U63401 Princess Margaret Ave.
Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: Pedestrians to use opposite footway to works on U633400 Queen Elizabeth Rd and U63401 Princess Margaret Ave.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days (24hrs). Commencing: 26 June 2026.
(U95207 Broadheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Order made: To close that part of U95207 Broadheath from its junction with B4204 Broadheath to its junction with U95404 Bell Ln.
Reason: Air valve renewal by STW.
Alternative route: U95404 Bell Ln, B4204 Broadheath and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 2 June 2026.
(U63514 Lower Quest Hills Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Order made: To close that part of U63514 Lower Quest Hills Rd from a point of 95 metres west of its junction with C2205 Howsell Rd for a distance of 50 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Alternative route: C2205 Howsell Rd, U63512 Quest Hills Rd, U63514 Lower Quest Hills Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 1 June 2026 and 4 June 2026.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(B4204 Hanley Broadheath, in Malvern Hills District) (40 mph Speed Limit) (Proposal and Revocation) Order 2026
On 14 May 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to update the speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Hanley Broadheath to 40 miles per hour:
B4204 Hanley Broadheath: from a point 160 metres northwest of its junction with UC95404 (Bell Lane) in a south easterly direction to a point 95 metres southeast of its junction with C2091.
C2091: from its junction with B4204 for a distance of 21 metres in a northerly direction.
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 4 June 2026.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be downloaded at the Malvern Hills Public Notice page on the Worcestershire County Council Website or inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern WR14 3AF and Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
(Lydes Road, Malvern) (No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings) Order 2026
On 14 May 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping at any time on School Keep Clear Markings on the following length of road in Malvern:
Lydes Road, Malvern (north east side): from a point of 23.6 metres southwest of its junction with Pickersleigh Road for a distance of 33 metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 4 June 2026.
