Latimer Drive, Bramcote - Temporary Prohibitions Of Traffic To Install A New Sewer And Foul Pipe

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(LATIMER DRIVE, BRAMCOTE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONS) ORDER 2026 (BX26-113)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Bramcote in the Borough of Broxtowe.

The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:

a. Latimer Drive, Bramcote - From a point 70 metres west of its junction with Manville close in a westerly direction for a distance of 16 metres.

2. No persons are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of Footpath:

a. Footpath between Latimer Drive and Sloan Drive, Bramcote - From its junction with Latimer Drive in a south westerly direction for a distance of 25 metres.

2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.

3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 07:30 hours on Tuesday 16th June 2026
Until 16:30 hours on Sunday 5th July 2026 Daily.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:

No Alternative route available.

The Order will come into force on 16th June 2026 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).

The prohibition is required to enable C3 Construction on behalf of Miller Homes to carry out works to install a new sewer and foul pipe
