CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (C1016 ETTERBY STREET, CARLISLE) (TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME TRAFFIC RESTRICTION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable footway works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from waiting at any time, on any day and/or from loading and unloading, at any time, on any day (including blue badge holders) along that section of the C1016, Etterby Street, Carlisle (south side) from its a point approx. 40m east of its junction with Etterby Terrace, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 210m.

The Order will come into operation on 15 June 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 5 weeks, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
