Exmouth Road - Temporary Road Closure

Portsmouth City Council (Exmouth Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.102) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 15th June 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
EXMOUTH ROAD
From its junction with Albert Road to Collingwood Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate crane and building repair works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 15th June 2026 to 14th December 2027 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Albert Road, Duncan Road, Collingwood Road and Exmouth Road, St Vincent Road, Duncan Road, Albert Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
