What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(COTSWOLD ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Cotswold Road at
its junction with Cheviot Road to outside property 11.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 9 June 2026 until 11 June 2026.
The diversion route is: Cheviot Road.
The Order is required to facilitate a small sluice valve install
by Severn Trent Water.
