ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
GOUROCK ROAD – CHANGES TO PARKING PLACES (TEMPORARY MEASURES) [TT2(26)]
1. The Council of the Royal Borough of Greenwich hereby gives notice that it intends to make an Order to ensure access to local amenities for blue badge holders, the effect of which would be to replace shared use parking places with disabled parking places in Gourock Road.
2. Whilst the Order is in effect, two numbers of shared use parking places in Gourock Road – outside No.52 and No.63 would be replaced with ‘Disabled badge holder only’ parking places.
3. The Order would come into force on 10th June 2026 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months, or until the shared use parking signs have been reinstated, whichever is the sooner.
4. Queries concerning the intended Order should be directed to traffic-orders@royalgreenwich.gov.uk quoting reference TT4(26) Gourock Road –
Disabled Bays.
