ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
IGNATIUS SANCHO ROAD – WAITING AND LOADING PROHIBTIONS (TEMPORARY MEASURES) [TT3(26)]
1. The Council of the Royal Borough of Greenwich hereby gives notice that to enable access for emergency vehicles and Council vehicles to carry out key services, to protect the health and safety of the residents and avoid the likelihood of danger, it intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting and loading in Ignatius Sancho Road.
2. Whilst the Order is in effect, no person shall cause any vehicle to wait or load at any time, in Ignatius Sancho Road – in its entirety, with the exception of locations where existing disabled parking places exist.
3. The Order would come into force on 11th June 2026 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency vehicles or service vehicles.
