(REGENT STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Regent Street from outside
property 10 to the side of property 45.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 1 June 2026 until 10 June 2026.
The diversion route is: Prouds Lane, Dover Street and vice
versa.
The Order is required to facilitate three new service
connections by Cadent Gas.
