What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Waterloo Street, (Jockey Bank, Newbridge Road and Wesley Road), Ironbridge. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst manhole and frame works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 8/6/26 between the hours of 9.30am and 15:00pm. The following roads are affected: Waterloo Street, Ironbridge from its jcn with High St Rbt for approx. 50m in an easterly direction. Jockey Bank, Newbridge Rd and Wesley Rd, Ironbridge in their entirety. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 8/6/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
