TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC 150200382 : The City of Manchester (Tib Street, Oldham Street & Church Street, Piccadilly Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic & One-way Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Tib Street (Hilton Street to Dale Street), Oldham Street (Dale Street to Back Piccadilly) & Church Street (Tib Street to Oldham Street). The alternative routes for traffic will be signed for each road as it is restricted. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate a MEWP. It is expected that the works will be in progress on 14th June 2026 & 21st June 2026 only.
The order shall come into operation on 14th June 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
