What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
GRAVESHAM AREA
B2175 High Street, Northfleet, DA11 9HU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of carriageway plaining, surfacing and white lining works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2175 High Street, Northfleet, on or after 8th June 2026 for up to 4 nights between 20.00hrs and 5.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Council Avenue and College Roade.
The alternative route is via B2175 The Hill, B2175 London Road, A226 Thames Way, B2175 Stonebridge Road and vice versa.
Brice Road, Higham, Rochester, ME3 7AD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brice Road, Higham, Rochester, on or after 26th June 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 37.
The alternative route is via Villa Road, A226 Gravesend Road, Forge Lane, Brice Road and vice versa.
Clarence Place, Gravesend, DA12 1LA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Southern Water Services works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Clarence Place, Gravesend, on or after 8th June 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 25.
The alternative route is via Clarence Place, Parrock Road, B261 Echo Square/Old Road East, Windmill Street and vice versa.
Colyer Road, Northfleet, DA11 8EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Southern Water Services works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Colyer Road, Northfleet, on or after 8th June 2026 for up to 11 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 241.
The alternative route is via Mitchell Avenue, Waterdales, Gwynn Road and vice versa.
Dashwood Road, Northfleet, DA11 7LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Southern Water Services works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dashwood Road, Northfleet, on or after 8th June 2026 for up to 3 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 23.
The alternative route is via Dashwood Road, New House Lane, A227 Wrotham Road, B261 Old Road West and vice versa.
Hillside Avenue, Gravesend, DA12 4ES (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of an antenna swap at height with an MEWP and completion of internal cabinet upgrade works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hillside Avenue, Gravesend, on or after 8th June 2026 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Valley Drive and The Parade.
The alternative route is via Valley Drive, Thomas Drive, Lamorna Avenue, Hillside Avenue and vice versa.
Shipley Hills Road, Meopham, DA13 0JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shipley Hills Road, Meopham, on or after 11th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Clements Reach Farm and Westland Farm.
The alternative route is via Shipley Hills Road, A227 Wrotham Road, B260 Longfield Road, B260 Main Road, Hartley Bottom Road, Idleigh Court Road and vice versa.
Sole Street, Cobham, DA13 0XY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Southern Water Services works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sole Street, Cobham, on or after 22nd June 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 2 Vine Cottages.
The alternative route is via Sole Street, Camer Road, Green Lane, A227 Wrotham Road, Cross Lane West, Singlewell Road, Hever Court Road, Marling Cross Overbridge, Henhurst Road, Jeskyns Road and vice versa.
