Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
Joyce Green Lane, Dartford, DA1 5LY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of telecom works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Joyce Green Lane, Dartford, on or after 22nd June 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approx 30m from junction with A206 Bob Dunn Way.
There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access whenever it is safe to do so.
Powder Mill Lane, Wilmington, DA1 1JN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Powder Mill Lane, Wilmington, on or after 26th June 2026 for up to 4 nights between 19.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Bright Horizons Nursery.
The alternative route is via Powder Mill Lane, Darenth Road, A225 Princes Road/Lowfield Street/Hawley Road, Warwick Way and vice versa.
Red Street, Southfleet, DA13 9PE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Trooli works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Red Street, Southfleet, on or after 8th June 2026 for up to 10 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Rosings and New Barn Road.
The alternative route is via New Barn Road, Red Street, B262 Station Road, Dale Road, Warren Road and vice versa.
Station Road, Greenhithe, DA9 9NE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Station Road, Greenhithe, on or after 25th June 2026 for up to 1 night between 22.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the railway bridge.
There is no alternative route.
Westwood Road, Southfleet, DA13 9LY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Trooli works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Westwood Road, Southfleet, on or after 22nd June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Chambers Cottages.
The alternative route is via Westwood Road, B255 Highcross Road, B262 Betsham Road and vice versa.
Willow Road, Dartford, DA1 2QG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Willow Road, Dartford, on or after 11th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 164.
The alternative route is via Sycamore Road, Willow Road and vice versa.
