The Isle of Wight Council (Hale Common, Arreton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Restriction) Order No 1 2026 – Hale Common, Arreton will be Restricted to 30mph. starting 50 metres south-east of Watery Lane to its junction of Arreton Bridleway 20, Arreton.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 29 May 2026 and Friday 10 July 2026 the following roads / path will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 15 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable footway resurfacing works, and any associated pre works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following footpaths: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include reconstruction, resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of the paths on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. On-street signage will depict the exact length of the closures. Adverse weather will have an impact on this programme.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Friday 29 May 2026 until 2359 hours on Sunday 31 May 2026, or when the works has been completed, there will be a temporary speed restriction along Yarmouth Road, Newport. For its entire length. On-street signage will depict the exact lengths of the restriction. The restriction is required for Three Rivers Festival.
