Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works, Eskhill, Penicuik will be closed in 3 phases from Kirkhill Road to A701 John Street, Monday to Sunday, between the hours of 0730 and 1600. The Order has effect on 8 June 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 8 November 2026. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be clearly sign posted. Kevin Anderson, Executive Director, Place.
