Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

A5111 RAYNESWAY, DERBY

WHEN: 23 June 2026 to 24 June 2026 (20.00 to 06.00) Overnight Only WHERE: Raynesway, from the Derby Road/Acorn Way/ Raynesway Roundabout to A5111 Raynesway REASON: Grass cutting and Horticultural maintenance ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Southbound Closure: Derby Road – Spondon Roundabout – A52 Eastbound – Victoria Avenue – A52 Westbound – Raynesway Southbound And Northbound Closure: Raynesway Northbound – A52 Westbound – Circumnavigate The Pentagon – A52 Eastbound – Derby Road

CHURCH HILL, SPONDON, DERBY

WHEN: 13 June 2026 WHERE: Church Hill, from its junction with Sitwell Street to its junction with Church Street and Potter Street. REASON: Tree maintenance works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Sitwell Street – Moor Street – Dale Road (A609) – Sancroft Road – Locko Road – Church Street (and the same in the opposite direction)

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON
DERWENT AVENUE, DERBY
WHEN: 25 June 2026 to 17 July 2026 WHERE: Derwent Avenue, from its junction with Duffield Road to its junction with Lambourne Drive. REASON: Major gas scheme ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Dufield Road – Spenbeck Drive – Ford Lane – Duffield Road (and the same in the opposite direction)
