Rodden Road – Temporary Road Closure Due To Electricity Supply Upgrade Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Frome Temporary Closure of Rodden Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Rodden Road - from the junction with New Road, south-eastwards for a total distance of 38 metres. This Order will enable OCU Group to upgrade current electricity supply on behalf of SSE.
The Order becomes effective on 12th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th June 2026 and last until 26th June 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 12 days.
