TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic:
BENTON
St Margarets Avenue Lane.
There is no alternative route however access to be given when possible.
The proposed temporary Order is required to excavate on existing stop tap and adjacent service to renew with boundary box and meter.
The Order will come into force on 8th June 2026 for a period not exceeding 5 days.
