What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Coleford Temporary Closure of Lipyeate Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Lipyeate Lane - from the junction with Lipyeate Cross To Luckington Cross to the junction with Charlton Road. A total distance of 1241 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole testing works.
The Order becomes effective on 12th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 16th June 2026 and last until 16th June 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
