Somerset Council Parish of Frome Temporary Closure of The Mount

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: The Mount - from the junction with Mount Pleasant to the junction with Dragonfly Close. A total distance of 317 metres.

This Order will enable Avtar Construction Ltd to carry out road improvement and junction works on behalf of Wain Homes.

The Order becomes effective on 12th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th June 2026 and last until 14th August 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 61 days.
