AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

PARK STREET, CROYDON

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING/LOADING ARRANGEMENTS

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate safety during construction works, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend parking and loading arrangements on Park Street, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) The taxi rank outside Nos. 3 to 7 Park Street will be suspended to prohibit its use.

b) The loading bay on the south side of Park Street, adjacent to the junction with St George’s Walk, will be suspended for use as a temporary taxi rank, allowing no stopping except taxis twenty-four hours a day, seven days week.

c) The footway outside Nos. 3 to 7 Park Street will be closed and pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.

3. The Order will come into operation on 28 May 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BRIGHTON ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms ducting works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Brighton Road, South Croydon.

2. During the work:

a) The cycle lane on the south-east side of Brighton Road will be closed outside Nos. 345 to 355 Brighton Road.

b) The footway outside Nos. 353 and 355 Brighton Road will be closed.

3. Whilst the cycle lane closure remains in force cyclists will be diverted into the main carriageway. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure will be diverted into a walkway in the cycle lane.

4. The Order will come into operation on 15 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 17 June 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any person or vehicle involved in conducting the said works.

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

KENT GATE WAY, CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate tram track works on behalf of TfL, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic on Kent Gate Way, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Kent Gate Way will be closed south-westbound at the tram level crossing adjacent to Lodge Lane roundabout.

3. During the closure the alternative route for traffic will be as detailed below.

• Via Kent Gate Way (eastbound), A232, Upper Shirley Road, and Gravel Hill.

4. The Order will come into operation on 17 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restrictions will not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

MONAHAN AVENUE, PURLEY

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works on behalf of SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Monahan Avenue, Purley.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place the entire length of Monahan Avenue will be closed.

3. During the closure, traffic will be diverted via Woodcote Valley Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 15 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed by 20 July 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

6. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

OXFORD ROAD, UPPER NORWOOD

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecom works on behalf of Vodafone, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Oxford Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Oxford Road will be closed at its junction with Central Hill.

3. The Order will come into operation on 11 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately six days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

4. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Oxford Road, Crystal Terrace, Hermitage Road, Central Hill and reversed.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work.

(b) a vehicle attending for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
