What is happening?

Somerset Council Parishes of Leigh-on-Mendip and Coleford Temporary Closure of Ham Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Ham Hill - from the junction with Marsh Lane, north-eastwards for a total distance of 315 metres. This Order will enable Proconect to carry out ducting and cabling works on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 12th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th June 2026 and last until 24th June 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 7 days.
