ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Alexandra Road, Twickenham.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Alexandra Road, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Alexandra Road, Twickenham outside numbers 14 to 32.
3. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Alexandra Road, Richmond Road, Cresswell Road, Denton Road, Morley Road and Alexandra Road, Morley Road, Richmond Road, Mill Lane.
4. The order will come into effect 11 June 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress on 11 June 2026 only, the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Restrictions Craig Road, Ham & Various others.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets in Ham.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The parking restrictions will operate on a rolling basis.
3. The order will come into effect on 01 June 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 01 June until 31 July 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Waiting Restrictions,

Gould Road & Crane Road, Twickenham.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate development works and deliveries they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Gould Road and Crane Road, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place:-

   • The disabled persons’ bay outside number 4 Gould Road will be suspended and a temporary disabled persons’ bay will be provided outside number 6;

   • No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand at any time in the following lengths of road:-

   • Outside number 54 Crane Road

   • The bay adjacent to the side of 53 Crane Road in Gould Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 04 June 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 04 June 2026 until 31 March 2027. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Hatherop Road, Hampton.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Hatherop Road, Hampton from outside number 97 to 107.
3. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Hatherop Road, Broad Lane, Westbrook Avenue, Holly Bush Lane, Hatherop Road and vice versa.
4. The order will come into effect 08 June 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 08 June to 10 June 2026, The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
