PUBLIC NOTICE: TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF

LANGTONS GARDENS

LANGTONS SUMMER CONCERT 2026

In accordance with the powers conferred by Section 145 of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), the Council of the London Borough of Havering (“the Council”) HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it will close Langtons Gardens, Hornchurch (“the Park”) for the purpose of the Langtons Summer Concert (“the Event”) between 19:00 hours on 6 June 2026 and 17:30 hours on 7 June 2026.

At the discretion of the Council or the Event organisers, some access may be maintained through part(s) of the Park during the period of closure.

The Park will re-open at 17:30 hours on 7 June 2026 following the end of the Event.

A copy of this Notice, together with a plan showing the area to be closed (edged in red), may be examined at Romford Central Library, St. Edwards Way, Romford, RM1 3AR, during the following hours:

• Monday and Thursday 10:00 to 20:00

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 09:00 to 17:00

• Saturday 10:00 to 16:00

Opening hours may vary during bank holidays. Any changes will be published on https://www.havering.gov.uk/info/20007/council_and_democracy/180/bank_holiday_opening_times_and_service_changes
