Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden, TN12 8LS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden, on or after 4th June 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Marle Place Road, for a distance approximately 375 metres in a North direction, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 Lamberhurst Road, B2162 Horsmonden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A262 Spelmonden Road, A262 Station Road, A262 Clayhill, A262 West Road, A262 The Plain, B2079 North Road, Ballards Hill, Goudhurst Road, The Heath, Lamberhurst Road and vice versa.
Bedford Road, Southborough, TN4 0HD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bedford Road, Southborough, on or after 15th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 27. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Meadow Road, A26 London Road, Western Road and vice versa.
Ethnam Lane, Sandhurst, TN18 5PR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ethnam Lane, Sandhurst, on or after 15th June 2026 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of the A268 Rye Road to the farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
First Street, Langton Green, TN3 0EU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow cover and frame replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of First Street, Langton Green, on or after 15th June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed to the side of Blue India. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via First Street, Salisbury Road, A264 Langton Road and vice versa.
Folly Hill, Sissinghurst (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Folly Hill, Sissinghurst, on or after 5th June 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 190 metres & 240 metres East from Folly Hill Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Folly Hill, Goudhurst Road, Five Oak Lane, Wilden Park Road, Sherenden Lane, B2079 Goudhurst Road, B2079 Winchet Hill, Curtisden Green Lane, Horden Road, Round Green Lane, Colliers Green Road, Folly Hill and vice versa.
Frittenden Road, Sissinghurst, TN17 2AQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Frittenden Road, Sissinghurst, on or after 3rd June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 200 metres South from Scullsgate Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hinksden Road, Coldharbour Road, Mill Street, Sponden Lane, Field Green, Hinksden Road and vice versa.

To allow stopcock replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ockley Road, Hawkhurst, on or after 1st June 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 5 Lavender Square, Ockley Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ockley Road, Winchester Road, A229 Cranbrook Road and vice versa.
Sherenden Road, Tudeley, TN11 0PD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sherenden Road, Tudeley, on or after 2nd June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 40 metres South from Liley Farm Barn. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sherenden Road, Hartlake Road, B2017 Crockhurst Street and vice versa.
Water Lane, Hawkhurst (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Water Lane, Hawkhurst, on or after 1st June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside the fence of Cover Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Water Lane, A229 Hawkhurst Road, A229 Gills Green, A229 Cranbrook Road, A268 Rye Road, Water Lane and vice versa.
